You can tell she's the youngest of four. While most kid's first song is "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star", Hadley is singing Justin Bieber and Beyonce. I didn't get a chance to record her singing, "All the Single Ladies", but I did capture a little bit of "Baby, Baby, Baby Oh". I love her so much. She always makes me smile.

Loving Summer
I love these two. They were waiting for the ice cream truck all day. They even took a cot outside to rest while they waited.
The ice cream truck never showed up. I took them to Dairyland.
Cole was telling Aunt Sue lots of stories. I think he misses her!
Cole wasn't annoyed. I guess (like his Papa) he just looks that way in pictures...and often in life.
Judd
As many of you know, Judd is blind in one eye. Last week his eye started hurting him so badly that he couldn't eat or drink. He wouldn't even talk and could hardly sleep.
Mom took him to the eye doctor and the news was horrible. The doctor told her that he needed to go to Children's Mercy in Kansas City the next morning. He also told her that it was very likely that he would need his eye removed.
I can hardly imagine how awful that was for my mom. I came down to watch the other kids and they left the next morning for Kansas City, not knowing what to expect. We had everyone praying. Judd was in so much pain and to think of him possibly having an eye removed that day was almost unbearable. He's only been here for 6 months. How would he handle something so huge? The appointment went well. They did not want to remove his eye yet since he was so young and it would affect the way his face would form as he grew. They are going to do a procedure on July 31st where they scrape his cornea. I know this will be very painful but it should help.
When they got home Dad told him that he was just like a superhero, so brave. I could tell Dad was really scared for him too.
Prayer is powerful. I know many of you have prayed for this little guy even before he came to us. Thank you for continuing to pray for him as he goes through this procedure for his eye. Pray that the pain will continue to be eased.
It's going to be a long road for him, but he's strong. He's already exceeded our expectations.
He's a blessing to us all. I know he will change this world one day. Please continue to pray. God is good!

Swimming at Meme's
He loved it.
We got to see Aunt Marsha, Uncle Alan, and Kerstin too! They made a quick stop on their way to vacation in South Dakota.
Kerstin requested to stop at Meme's and swim. I'm so glad we were able to see them!
Mick and Paula were there too.
Cole was happy to see Lance again!
The girls all had fun together too.
Meme was right in the middle of all the fun. In fact, Lance and Brad ganged up on her later and soaked her with water guns. She loved it!
It was a fun day. Cole fell asleep at their house at 6:30 and slept until 6:30 the next morning, then took a 2 hour nap on Sunday! The water and sun really wore him out.
