Grayson and Cole

Grayson and Cole want to see each other all the time.

They go to each others' house almost every day after school.

I love to listen to them talk to each other.

Christmas Decorations

We put our Christmas tree and decorations up before Thanksgiving.
Cole asked if Brewer could stay and help.  He actually wasn't a ton of help.

But he was super cute so I said he could stay.

Cole and Brewer put ornaments on the tree.

So our tree was mostly decorated at the bottom.

It wasn't very cold outside so it was kind of weird decorating for Christmas.
Zoe attempted to put the star on the top because it's tradition.

Cole and Brewer got bored and went outside to play.  Hadley came over to join them.  I heard them screaming outside because they found a worm.  Then I hear Brewer laugh and say, "How about I pick my nose and see if the worm will eat my booger?"I love Cole's face as Brewer starts to give his booger to the worm.

They watched intently...

but the worm never ate the booger.

After the Hodge kids went home, Cole and Zoe went outside to help Brad put up lights. Then the ice cream truck came.

I found it a little strange, but the kids enjoyed some ice cream anyway.

The house looked beautiful when they finished.

We can't wait for the holiday season!

Hadley Has My Heart

I know I've said it before but I'm pretty much obsessed with this little lady.

She looked at this pictures and said, "Oh...I'm just scratching my nose."  Sure, Hads.

She actually fits in our family perfectly.

I think I'll just pack her in a box and move her to Claremore with us.

Just don't tell her mom and dad!

Liz

Man, I love this lady.  She has helped make Owasso feel like home.  She makes me laugh and brings me so much joy.

I tried to spend every day last week with her, knowing she was moving to Phoenix today.
We had a baby shower for her on Thursday.  She's pregnant with baby #4 and her first girl!!! I went over to Michelle's to shop in her closet.  She wasn't home so I made the mistake of asking my brother's opinion.  I asked him if the jacket looked too small and he said, "Yeah, it looks too short."  I tried to explain that it wasn't too short, but felt too tight in the arms.  He replied, "Oh, I think that's what makes it look too short."  I gave up and just sent a picture to Michelle.

Liz looked adorable!  Her sweet spirit shines through bright!
I tried to do a dramatic picture hugging her cute baby belly, but could hardly keep a straight face.
The shower was at Lindsay's and it was so sweet and girly.

She got lots of nice gifts, but mostly gift cards since she's moving across the country!

Lots of people came and loved on her before she left.  She will be dearly missed!

We Have the Best Grandparents EVER!

We had so much fun hanging out with both the grandparents on Saturday.  We ate too much and laughed hard!

Cole and Papa talked strategy during a fierce game of dominos.

Papa Eldon took us for a ride in their new car!

Zoe didn't get to drive the car, but she did get to drive the lawnmower!

Zoe is already begging for this car when she's 16!
