Zoe's Recital

 I know I'm her mom, and extremely partial, but Zoe looked beautiful last night at her dance recital.

She did a great job on her dance and seemed to really be having a great time.  

 All the dances were fun to watch.  They are very talented.

Zoe even found some girls she goes to school with that we didn't know danced at the same studio.  We spent a lot of time backstage so she was able to hang out with them some.

 She didn't seem nervous, but after her dance was over she was a lot more relaxed.  She was having fun and being silly.

 The girl with her in this picture is Dallas.  She's in her dance class.  She kept asking Zoe if she wanted to practice their ballet dance...which was funny to me since they had already performed it!

All the older girls were in the finale.  It was a fun dance they all did together.  They could wear whatever they wanted so Zoe wore her new booty shorts she got for her birthday. 

 I love that booty!

 The recital was finished by 9:00 (much better than rehearsal).  We went to eat at Zio's before we headed home.

It was a great night.  I'm glad Zoe still loves dance.  She's even talking about taking a summer class in July and adding a class next year.
