Tulsa Trip

We had so much fun in Tulsa Saturday. I went to babysit but only had the kids by myself for less than an hour. We ended up staying and playing all day and then Zoe and I went to the circus with Michelle, Hayden, and Hayden's new friend Kate that evening. It was a blast! I don't have very many pictures because my camera battery died. I love it that the Hodges live closer. We are going to have a blast this summer!!!

Cole sometimes closes his eyes on purpose when I try to take a picture. The only explanation I have is that he's 2! Hadley's looking at him like she thinks it's weird too.

Outside Fun

The weather finally warmed up enough for us to go outside. We had a fun picnic Saturday at the park and played Sunday. It was a little windy (that's why Cole's got his hood up) but it was nice.

Cole loves hanging out on our neighbor's wall. It's his favorite "toy" right now.

He also loves the gravel in the road. However, he's not a fan of his police car right now. He acts scared of it. Weird.
So he drove down to Hunter's house then freaked out and wouldn't drive it back. Luckily Hunter was happy to drive it back for him!

Cole just stared at Hunter like he was wondering why he liked it so much.

I can't wait for Spring and Summer. We have the best neighborhood and we all love to play outside!

Nana's Man

Cole loves to tease me by constantly saying he's "Nana's Man". He's pretty attached to her since I've been back at work. He just sits with her and loves on her.

Mom and Dad kept the kids yesterday while Brad and I went to a movie and out to eat. When we got back Cole did not want to come with us. He just wanted to stay with his Nana.

I am SO LUCKY to have Mom and Aunt Sue. I honestly could not go to work if I didn't have them. He adores them and it's obvious the feeling is mutual!!

Valentine's Day

Cole worked hard writing in his card for his Valentine.
He hadn't seen his sweetheart in 2 weeks and was starting to really miss her.

He gave her the card and chocolates (which I think he ended up eating most of) and of course she loved it.

Brad brought all of us our favorite things from the Candy House. Gummies for the kids and fudge for me!

I did get flowers from another boy, but Brad didn't seem jealous. I think it was because he's only seven years old. Thanks Tanner!

Best Friends

I wish my camera was better. This was such a cute picture but it's really dark. Cole's been loving his Uncle Blake lately. Here Blake is reading to Cole, even though he vowed not to read over the snow days!Zoe went to see the Justin Beiber movie with her BFF, Mia today. They wore matching J.B. shirts.

Sleepover with the Neighbors

Addie and Mallorie spent the night last night. They were pretty wound up last night.
They somehow made a "king-size" bed, as they called it. They put lots of couch cushions and blankets on the side of Zoe's twin-sized bed and all slept sideways in it. I guess it worked okay except Zoe said Mal's feet were facing the wrong direction this morning.

They woke up before 7 this morning and so did Cole.
It was really cute. They let Cole in the room this morning and Zoe was showing off his "reading" skills. He's memorized the words on these puzzles that he has. Addie and Mallorie were impressed...or at least acted like they were.

Cole was loving all the attention.
Then they let him hang out with them while they played Webkinz.

It was a fun time, but guess who's the most exhausted!

Still Snowed In

After a week of being snowed in we're happy we at least get to play with our friends.

Taya and Charity came over yesterday and played. They built tents, played house, and danced with the Wii.

Cole's pretending to sleep.

I actually thought I might try to break him from the passy over the snow break, but I am the one here with him all day, everyday, so I decided pretty quick this wasn't the best time. In fact I'm pretty sure the "passy addiction" has gotten worse instead of better!

We're lucky to have such fun neighbors who are really good girls. It makes snow days a lot better.
