Early Halloween Fun

After church on Sunday we carved pumpkins.
Normally Brad does this with the kids, but I helped this time.

I could tell I was making Brad and Zoe really nervous with the knife.
Cole drew this face on his pumpkin and then I cut it.  Pretty good, huh?
He named his pumpkin, Grayson.

Although, I don't see the resemblance.

Zoe named hers Piely (Pie-lee).
They played a little with the "pumpkin guts", then we went inside to get ready for FX.
FX was at church.  They had skits, songs, and games.  It was awesome!
We took Zoe's friends, Riley and Macy, with us.
By the time we got there Cole had turned into Homeboy Thomas.

Cole loved the "show", as he kept calling it.  He was laughing so hard.  It was making me laugh.
Josh and Aaron were "Dumb and Dumber".  Not sure which one was "Dumber"!  It was really funny.
The girls saw Mrs. Loving there!
They played some games and got candy.

This was the funniest game.  The kids launched huge marshmallows at Josh's face.  Hilarious!

Cole was annoyed (big surprise) because he didn't want to play any of the games, he only wanted the candy.  We saw Morgan and she grabbed a huge handful and put it in his bucket.  I think he likes Morgan now!

His favorite thing to do was play on this hay.

After the girls loaded up on candy we headed back home.  It was a fun time!
This morning the kids got to be on the morning show.  One of the perks to being related to a news anchor!
Lindsay brought her kids over and a couple of the neighbor girls came too.
They all looked cute in their costumes.

They did a great job showing people the importance of Halloween safety.

It's been a fun start to this Halloween week already.

Family Day

Today we went to Andolini's and then to the Harvest Festival.  Fun day!

Fall Break

Last week Zoe was on Fall Break and Brad took off work, so we went to my favorite travel destination...Seneca! We surprised Judd and Taya at lunch.  Taya nearly took Zoe to the floor hugging her.  Judd didn't seem too excited.  He just asked, "Where's Cole?"  I loved seeing all my teacher friends and the kids!
We also got to see Tripp.  He showed off some of his new tricks.  ADORABLE!

We mostly hung out at Nana and Papa's.
Friday Bud and Hadley came (Michelle and the other 3 went to Columbia).
We went to see Grandpa Boots!  My other cousins will remember how we always sat on this side of Grandpa's lap.  LOVE THIS GUY!
He's 90 and still walks to the mailbox (which is a pretty good distance).  Zoe went with him this time.
Taya hung out with us all day Friday.  The girls had fun.
Brad was able to see his friend Tony and some people from SMB.  He really enjoyed his day.  Zoe went to the football game with the Kings and we all hung out some more and ate too much!

When Bud went home at the end of the day Friday, but he forgot a couple of things at Mom and Dad's.  Hadley's shirt...
and their dog.
Zoe realized it about 20 minutes after Bud left, but he didn't answer his phone until he was almost home.  Hmm...
Zoe was happy and Judd and Charity wanted to keep her.

Both dogs slept with Zoe that night. Then we took Cookie back home on Saturday.
As we were pulling into Owasso, Cookie puked in our car.  Gross.

I always love staying the night and hanging out in Seneca.  Brad teases that I would love it if we all just lived together.  I actually would...Brad, not so much!
