Zoo Fun With Mason

A few weeks ago we went to the zoo with Krissi and Mason and had lunch at Freddy's.  It was a fun day!

Yesterday, our Wacky Wednesday group met to make Valentine's for our favorite sweethearts at the Sterling House Nursing Home.  I was really happy that Mom and Tiffany came with Boston and Jolie.  Jolie and Hads were buddies!

They even played dress up together.  They are too stinkin' cute!

We ate a few snacks and decorated hearts.

I have a lot of pictures of these two girls...for obvious reasons!

The boys all had fun together too.

I love this group of girls and am thrilled they all have boys Cole's age. 

 

Even though Brady wasn't thrilled about making cards for our "Grandma and Grandpas" at first, he got into it too!

Next week we plan to visit the Sterling House and share our creations with them!

Heart for Dogs

Zoe loves going to Petsmart on Saturdays to love on the rescue dogs there. 
About a month ago we went and stayed for about an hour.  Cole really wanted to bring a puppy home. In this picture he is trying to convince me into just taking one home without talking to Daddy.

Zoe used 3 weeks of allowance money to buy the dogs bowls and treats, but her heart was still broken and she wanted to do more. 

She is cursed with parents who don't really care for dogs, so fostering a dog was out of the question.
 
We talked to one of the volunteers and he said as long as she had a parent with her she could volunteer.
 
 So for the last couple of weeks we've been going to Petsmart on Saturdays and spending the day with the dogs there. 

The Hodges always come visit and love on the puppies for quite a while too!

Zoe loves it and I think it's good for her.  She walks the dogs, cleans up their messes, and talks to people who are interested in adopting them.  I'm pretty proud of her!

Macy is 10

Macy turned ten last week and Zoe got to share in the fun!  Krissi took us out for lunch and then took Zoe and Macy for manicures and pedicures! 

Then Macy had her party on Saturday.

It was a fun dance, karaoke party. 

Macy got Taylor Swift concert tickets from her parents.  She was surprised!

Fun Visitors

Steph and Tripp came to visit last week.  It was so much fun hanging out with them.

Tripp couldn't get any cuter!!

Nana also came to visit last week.  We always love to see her come, but everyone hates to see her go.

She left us some nice presents though.  The Hodges got a tent and we got this giant cardboard house. 

We gave her a hard time about it, but it kept Cole and Zoe entertained for days.  They love it.

Cole Teaches Hadley About Trains

Cole is trying to teach Hadley about the important things in life...trains.  You also may notice that "Percy" doesn't sound any better when Hadley says it than when the boys say it.
