Snow Days

As soon as it started snowing Thursday afternoon, Cole wanted to go play in it.

He couldn't wait to run his trains through the snow and look to see if there was snow on top of the house.

After they came inside, Zoe was watching the snow fall out the window, when all of a sudden she saw Mrs. Husky making her way to the mailbox.  Zoe jumped up, put on her boots and yelled, "Wait Mrs. Husky, I'll get it!"  I snapped this picture right as our sweet neighbor was giving Zoe a hug.

They didn't have school on Friday.  Cole woke up around 7:00 and by 7:15 wanted to go outside.  Around 8:00, I gave in and let him go out.

It took them about 15 minutes to bundle up.

They ran around and played for probably 10 minutes.

Cole decided it was too cold and didn't ask to go back out the rest of the day!

The snow came down pretty hard.  Bud and the kids came over for the day.

Bud and our neighbor, Sam, shoveled driveways and sidewalks for our families and Mrs. Husky.

Inside we watched TV, played the computer, and ate food!

Hadley and Brady helped me make brownies.

On Saturday we braved the streets and went to the Bippus house for some OSU football.

Monday we were out of school again.  Brewer hung out with us most of the day.

Tuesday we didn't go to school but the roads were better by the afternoon.  I took Zoe and Hadley shopping and left Cole with Bud.  Hadley found a couple of things she wanted!

We ran into Zoe's friend, Riley, at Target so she came home with us for a little while! It was a fun few days off!  Won't be long, and it will be Christmas break!!
