Judd

As many of you know, Judd is blind in one eye.  Last week his eye started hurting him so badly that he couldn't eat or drink.  He wouldn't even talk and could hardly sleep.
I can hardly imagine how awful that was for my mom.  I came down to watch the other kids and they left the next morning for Kansas City, not knowing what to expect.  We had everyone praying.  Judd was in so much pain and to think of him possibly having an eye removed that day was almost unbearable.  He's only been here for 6 months.  How would he handle something so huge?

The appointment went well.  They did not want to remove his eye yet since he was so young and it would affect the way his face would form as he grew.  They are going to do a procedure on July 31st where they scrape his cornea.  I know this will be very painful but it should help.
When they got home Dad told him that he was just like a superhero, so brave.  I could tell Dad was really scared for him too.
The great news is that they were able to give him some cream for his eye that has been working to stop the pain.  He seems like he is back to his old self.

Prayer is powerful.  I know many of you have prayed for this little guy even before he came to us.  Thank you for continuing to pray for him as he goes through this procedure for his eye.  Pray that the pain will continue to be eased.

It's going to be a long road for him, but he's strong.  He's already exceeded our expectations.
He's a blessing to us all.  I know he will change this world one day.  Please continue to pray.  God is good!
