Family Fun

Wednesday Bud and I took the kids to the trails again.  Cole used to call it "the woods", now he calls it "the jungle".  Bomber took charge and told the boys to hold hands as they went across the parking lot.
The boys thought it was cool that we found some "clues".  We followed some tracks to try and find some animals.
We did see some deer tracks and actually saw some deer.  The boys had a hard time staying quiet so they didn't hang around long.
The trail was really muddy.  Their shoes were a mess.

One of their favorite things is to find sticks.  Bud tried to teach them how to find a good walking stick.  I don't think this one that Bomber found was exactly what Bud was talking about.

Hads seemed to enjoy the ride.

There was a group of older people that were taking their trail walk pretty seriously.  I looked up at one point and noticed Brewer right in the middle of them.  I don't think he noticed (honestly, I don't think the old people noticed either).
Cole has loved playing puzzles lately.  They had a big one inside the conservation center.  It was hard to get him out of there.
Anytime Hadley comes over she thinks it's funny to irritate Cole (which is super easy to do).  She likes putting on his favorite hat.  She does look really cute in it though!
Wednesday evening. Mom, Judd, and Charity came to spend the night.  We love seeing them!
It seems like they are all really into their movies, ipods, phones, and ds.
 Even Judd says, "Mama, iphone".

He is so cute and he's learning so much.  Charity is really good with him.  She adores all the kids.
Zoe, Hayden, and Bomber had to go to school.  I told Zoe she could go in a little late on Thursday, especially since they have special classes in the morning.  She said she had music and it wouldn't be worth it.  She LOVES music.  Nana is always good about staying until they get out of school so she can see them.  We even went on a walk around the neighborhood after school.
Bomber loves playing UNO with Nana.

We love to see them come, but hate to see them go.

  1. It was really fun. I'd never seen "strip Uno" played before. It looks like Cole needs some practice.
