Zoe's Money Jars

Zoe has been working hard this summer and earning allowance.  She made 3 jars for her money:
Spending, Saving, and Giving.
It warms my heart to see her responsibility with money and willingness to give.  I took her shopping yesterday and she loved spending her Justice gift card and had no problems buying stuff for herself.  Then we went to Target to spend another gift card and she wanted to buy Cole a $20 train (that he does not need).  I had to talk her out of several things she wanted to buy for him.  She finally decided on a snowcone maker that they both could enjoy.
She had $10 left of her own cash and had some swim goggles in the cart she wanted.  She put them up so she could spend that $10 on her dad for Father's Day.  I really wanted to buy the goggles for her, but I knew it would probably be a poor parenting move.  She decided she would wait 2 weeks until she earned some more allowance and then buy the goggles.  What a smart, sweet girl.
