Summer Fun

Zoe's friend Macy came over Wednesday and spent the night.  They made their own spa in the bathroom.

I went and would highly recommend it.  

They had been in there for a while and I had kind of forgot about them.  

I took Cole in to go to the bathroom and this is what I find!  Hilarious!

I asked if it was going to ruin their spa experience with a 3 year old peeing 2 feet away from them.  

 Macy has a 3 year old brother and said she was used to it and Zoe didn't seem bothered either.

They also made a 3 bedroom house out of the couch cushions and blankets.  They even let Cole play for a little while.

 They might make a mess, but they are great about cleaning it up.  All the rooms they messed up looked better after they cleaned it up than it did before.

 They even made this bed for themselves out of the couch cushions and an extra bedspread.

 They did each others' hair and just acted like silly 9 year old girls.  I loved it.

 Today we went to the pool in the Henderson's neighborhood at Stone Canyon.  Hayden went with us.

 It was cloudy and in my opinion way too cold to swim, but it didn't seem to stop the kids.

It was a zero entry pool which was perfect for the boys.  

Cole got a little too comfortable and kept wading a little further out.  Luckily Krissi had an extra life jacket for him.

 Hayden and Mallory, Macy's sister, had a great time together.

 Hayden and Mallory got a little cold and cuddled up together in a chair with their towels.

 The kids would take a break to eat some snacks every once in a while.

 It was a great taste of summer.  Cole was asleep by 5:00.  Hope he sleeps all night.
