Tball Time

The boys were supposed to have a doubleheader on Saturday.  Since Coach Bobby realizes they are 3 and 4 year old boys, he split up the team so they would only play one game.  We were the 2nd game so when we got there Liz was passing out snacks to the kids who played the first game.  In her attempt to win Cole's affection she went ahead and gave him an icy.  

We had to switch their shirts because they were supposed to be on the white side. 

Brady's little brother, Dawson, really wants to be a part of the team so he tried turning his shirt inside out too!

Grayson was a little disappointed that he didn't get to bat first, but since we only had half our team the boys were able to bat twice each time.

Liz definitely won over the Hodge kids with her snacks!

Papa also came to watch the game again.  Cole was really excited to see him!

Cole and Brady Reed were both warming up, waiting for their turn to hit.

Coach Bobby called Cole's hitting technique the "corkscrew".  It looked a little more like a twirl.

He did hit it though and ran the bases.

Brady hit after him and actually caught up with him by the time they got to home.

They both slid into home together.

I'm so glad Bobby was our coach this year.  He is so great with the boys.  Cole listens to him and doesn't get annoyed with him.  Two things that are hard for Cole.

At the end of the game they huddled up and yelled "I'm a man!"

Then Cole had another snack.
