Lindsay and Michael invited Brad and I to dinner Friday night for Lindsay's birthday. We went to a place called, In the Raw. Bud tried to convince me it was a strip club, but it was actually an amazing sushi restaurant in Tulsa. We had a great time.
Michelle insisted that it was okay to keep our kids, even though Nita was visiting from out of town. It may surprise you, but Cole can be a pain so I was really uneasy about leaving them.
Then, as though it wasn't going to be crazy enough, she invited Zoe's friend Macy, Macy's first grade sister Mallory, and the neighbor girl, Malynn. They ate pizza and some Oreo cake that Hayden and Nita made. Nita gave the girls the spa treatment, which Zoe went on and on about (and her hands really did feel soft!). They watched movies and played and apparently Cole was perfect. It really did seem calm when we got home.
They kids had a blast and so did we. Thanks Aunt Shell for the fun night!
