Cole fell asleep on the way to practice yesterday and it was very hard to wake him up. He was a little groggy the whole practice.
Coach Bobby let them all hit homeruns. They each got to bat then run all the way around the bases.
He also asked that the rest of the team cheer for the hitter. It was so cute how all the boys sat along the fence and yelled, "Go Cole!" Cole stared at them like they were ridiculous.
He still needs help with his hitting.
In fact, a couple of times yesterday he swung and missed and then hit it backwards on the way back around. I was actually scared for the boys sitting behind him against the fence.
He finally hit it in the right direction and ran the bases. Josh was on his own last night with the kids. I love how he has his youngest one in a stroller at first base!
He made it all the way around and got a high five from Bobby.
I'm glad he is enjoying it and gets to hang out with his friends.
