I Can Handle This Kind of Pet!

Wacky Wednesday was at Liz's today.  We started off by taking a walk down to their pond.
The big fun was finding some sort of poop on the sidewalk.
The boys all stopped and pointed and giggled when they discovered it.
When we got to the pond each child looked for the perfect rock for their pet.

After they picked the perfect rock, they threw rocks in the water for a little while.
Hads started off a little clingy to me, but then started enjoying the fun as the morning went on.

Then we headed back to the house and decorated our pets.

Cole named his pet rock, Cheese.

 Grayson's was named Monster Fuzzy.

Hadley even made her own pet rock.

We had to reglue Hadley's eyes on her rock a few times.  She wasn't very gentle with her pet.  Hope she's better with their family dog!
The boys watched some TV and played upstairs while Liz made lunch.
Dawson got comfortable and helped his mom.

The kids all loved the corndog cupcakes Liz made!

I think a rock is a great pet for our family...especially considering I left Cole and Hadley's at Liz's already.
Since Cole and Grayson didn't feel like they got enough of each other, Grayson came over to play.
Cole thought it would be really fun for Grayson to come over WITHOUT Lindsay.  Luckily Lindsay wasn't offended.
They've had a great time and have played outside most of the time.
They drove the police car for a while.
They looked more like guys who might have stolen a police car, rather than police officers.

They've had a fun day together.  It's never good when they have to say good-bye though.  Most likely there will be a meltdown!
