Family Field Trip

Bud and I took the kids to Will Rogers' Birthplace yesterday.

It was so beautiful, however when we pulled up we noticed about 4 buses. Yikes, kids on field trips.  At that moment I was actually happy not to be a teacher.

It took Bud and I both just to keep up with our four.

The kids loved running around.  It was a nice day and the scenery was so pretty.

There were a few animals just roaming around that the kids got to pet.

Bomber was the best with them.
Hadley chased them around.

Not sure what Bomber is trying to explain to this donkey.
It seems like they were friends though.
It was all going pretty well, when we saw a whole herd of second graders running towards us and the animals.  It was crazy.  After that the animals seemed nervous and a little agitated.
These goats started ramming heads.

Bomber bent down in front of them and calmly told them to stop fighting.

I admit I freaked out a little because the donkeys started running towards the kids and bucking.  It scared me to death.  Bud talked the kids into leaving the alone for a while.

Cole and Dog watched the animals from a distance.
We stayed a little longer and then headed on back.
It's always fun hanging out with Bud and the kids!
